I have been diving since the age of sixteen and completed over 800 dives in varying extreme conditions. I've worked in the industry as a PADI Instructor and Dive Guide travelling to remote locations all over the world, from Indonesia and South Africa to Vanuatu and Galapagos.
In addition to the 40m and shallower range of recreational diving, I'm an IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor and TDI Advanced Trimix Diver, having successfully completed several mixed gas dives past 100m. I'm also a qualified TDI Closed-Circuit Rebreather Diver, having trained and dived on the Buddy Evolution with air diluent.
As a wildlife enthusiast, I self studied for a Diploma in Marine Biology, further to my degree in Politics, and regularly contribute web content for the Shark Trust. I have also been a volunteer on several marine conservation projects around the world, including Coral Cay Conservation in Honduras, where I trained new volunteers and gave science lectures.
